The NESRT Scholarship
Award
The purpose of this annual monetary award is to promote
the advancement of the radiation therapy profession by
encouraging educational achievement in its constituency,
both practicing therapists and those learning the
profession.
The amount of the award is to be determined annually by
the NESRT Board. This award will not exceed 10% of the
treasury.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE- Senior student in an accredited radiation therapy program in New England
- GPA of at least 3.0 or its equivalent
- Current member of NESRT
- Two letters of support
- Essay of 500 words or less describing the individual’s personal radiation therapy goals and how this award will help in achieving the goals as well as indicating past or current leadership roles in the community or radiation therapy.
Therapist:
- Current member of NESRT
- Current ARRT certification
- Enrolled in a program that will advance the profession of radiation therapy
- Two letters of support
- Essay of 500 words or less describing the individual’s personal radiation therapy goals and how this award will help in achieving the goals as well as indicating past or current leadership roles in the community or radiation therapy.

The following will be submitted to the Selection Committee by December 31st for award at the following annual meeting:
- Cover letter indicating a desire to be considered for the award including entrance date and expected completion date of the program in which you are enrolled, and your contact information.
- Letter of verification of enrollment and GPA of at least 3.0 or its equivalent by the program director.
- Copy of current NESRT membership card
- Two letters of support
- Essay of 500 words or less describing the individual’s personal radiation therapy goals and how this award will help in achieving the goals as well as indicating past or current leadership roles in the community or radiation therapy.
Therapist:
